EURO 2028 Project Officer

About the role: As the EURO 2028 Project Officer, you'll play a key role in supporting UK Sport's contribution to one of the UK's largest and highest-profile sporting events of the decade. UEFA EURO 2028 will be delivered across the UK & Ireland, and this role sits at the heart of the programme that supports its successful planning and delivery. Working closely with the EURO 2028 Programme Manager, you'll provide high-quality project and programme support across a fast-paced, complex and high-profile portfolio of work. You'll help coordinate planning, reporting, governance, risk management and stakeholder engagement, ensuring activity is well-organised, tracked and delivered to consistently high standards. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain experience working on a mega-event programme with significant visibility and impact, as part of a collaborative and ambitious team. Who will I be working with? You'll work closely with the EURO 2028 Programme Manager, the wider UK Sport EURO 2028 team, and a wide range of external partners involved in delivering the tournament.

You're organised, proactive and enjoy making complex programmes run smoothly. You bring experience supporting projects or programmes in busy, multi-stakeholder environments and feel confident juggling priorities, tracking progress and keeping information clear and up-to-date. You're comfortable working with governance processes preparing papers, maintaining action logs and supporting decision-making. and you enjoy collaborating with others to solve problems and keep things moving. You communicate clearly, stay calm under pressure and take pride in producing accurate, high-quality work.
