Experteer Overview In this role you will lead the Corporate Independence workstream within the Ethics & Independence team, safeguarding the firm's independence across UK and international engagements. You'll advise client-facing teams on independence requirements, monitor regulatory obligations, and support colleagues with governance and risk processes. The role offers varied, development-focused work and flexible working options within a collaborative, inclusive culture. You'll help shape ethical practice while contributing to high-quality client service. Pay / Benefits

  • Deliver timely independence-related work with quality and policy adherence Interpret regulations and apply safeguards or escalation as needed Mentor and develop junior team members through guidance and knowledge sharing Communicate clearly with stakeholders and explain complex issues professionally Collaborate across GT practice and Risk function to enhance the firm's reputation Maintain confidentiality and manage competing priorities with effective time management Apply professional scepticism and curiosity to identify risks and improvements Identify opportunities for efficiency or innovation in independence processes Tasks Proven Ethics and Independence experience in a professional services firm Knowledge of UK Ethics and Independence requirements (FRC, ICAEW, IESBA) Strong judgement to interpret policies and apply them practically Strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail Ability to supervise and review others, with constructive feedback Experience managing a varied workload and communicating with senior stakeholders Proficient in MS Office 365 (Excel, Word, etc.) Key requirements flexible working work life balance inclusive culture secondments charity fundraising opportunities to develop
