Estimator

You will be responsible for preparing and producing risk assessments, designs, and quotations for a wide range of new build and retrofit projects. Working within a national team, your primary goal is to secure profitable projects and ensure a smooth handover to the contract management team.

• Creating technically sound and profitable quotations and designs that comply with prevailing British and International Standards.
• Meeting and exceeding monthly, quarterly, and annual sales and gross profit targets.
• Building dynamic, long-term relationships with clients to ensure repeat business and generate new opportunities through proactive research.
• Reading and interpreting drawings, schematics, and specifications to produce designs and risk assessments.
  
  Are you a proven Estimator with a background in lightning protection, earthing, or a related industry?, You should have proven design or estimating experience in lightning protection or a related field is preferred and have technical competence with BS EN 62305 accreditation or a recognised electrical engineering qualification. A good working knowledge of relevant UK and European standards related to lightning protection and earthing is essential.
You should have the ability to read and interpret drawings, schematics and specifications, and to produce lightning protection risk assessments, designs and layouts.
