Full Job Description
The Estates Surveyor will support the delivery of a comprehensive and high-qualityestate management and valuation service for Shropshire Council. Working under thesupervision of the Estates Manager - Corporate Landlord, you will contribute tomanaging the Council's property portfolio and ensuring effective stewardship of itsassets., You will be confident in building effective working relationships with colleagues,stakeholders, and external partners, able to contribute to negotiations, exercise goodjudgement, and help secure the best outcomes for the Council while maintaining highstandards of professionalism and customer care.
You will be a motivated and professional Estates Surveyor with strong technicalexpertise and a collaborative approach, bringing at least two years' estatesmanagement experience and a solid grounding in the legislation, procedures and legalframeworks required to deliver a high-quality estates management service.Alongside holding (or working toward) an MRICS-level professional qualification orequivalent, you will demonstrate sound knowledge of valuations, acquisitions,disposals and the management of both commercial and residential property.
