Full Job Description
The University Hospitals of North Midlands is looking to recruit an Estates Shift Maintenance Craftsperson on a permanent basis. Your duties will include the day to day maintenance and repair of the various engineering and building services and equipment on site during and outside normal working hours. You will be keen and enthusiastic working with a skilled team to assist in the provision of a high level of service to a large acute hospital.
You will be trained to City & Guilds Craft Level or equivalent in mechanical or electrical engineering and have previous experience working within a maintenance team. You will be stationed at County Hospital working 37.5 hours per week via a shift rota, but may be required to work at other sites belonging to or serviced by the UHNM.

The salary is band 4 which starts at a minimum of £28,392 per annum, rising to £31,157 over three years. In addition to this, you will receive £3,000 recruitment and retention premium on top of your basic salary for the first 12 months, increasing to 16% thereafter. You will also receive unsocial hours payments and shift enhancements.
You will be stationed at County Hospital working a shift rota on a 4 week cycle, but may be required to work at other sites belonging to or serviced by UHNM.
