Estates Project officer

About The Role Salary: £41,177 - £44,253 per annum Hours of work: 35 hours per week Contract: Permanent Location: Service Headquarters Merseyside Fire & Rescue Service are looking for a new Estates Project Officer to join the team. The role will involve managing small value capital building contracts (up to £1m), planning effective strategies and timescales, whilst ensuring value for money for the Authority. The key areas of responsibility for the role are: To appraise and detail the works required, and supervise the progress of remedial repair works to an acceptable standard. To plan effective strategy and timescales to enable delivery of goods and services. To perform property inspections and audits and ensure any resulting work is supervised, controlled and prioritised as directed by the Head of Estates.
