Full Job Description
This position is a shift work role across all South Hampshire College Group sites providing the highest standards of customer service in a general caretaking capacity to all College staff, students and visitors.
It is a Part-time position; The shift varies per campus with a mixture of early shifts and late shifts including weekends where required on a rostered basis.
Assist the Estates and H&S managers/Supervisors in providing an effective facilities and maintenance service across the college campuses
Provide administrative support to the Estates department
Contribute to a safe, clean and well-maintained environment for staff, students, customers and visitors to the College
Experience of General DIY
Qualifications:
GCSE Math's and English - Grade C and above
Current driving licence Cat B
Current driving licence Cat D
Ideal Attributes:
Ability to be tactful and deal with confrontation
Use of basic Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook etc.)
Excellent customer service skills
Ability to work unsupervised
Have a flexible and proactive attitude to work
We currently have an exciting opportunity for passionate, dedicated Campus Estates Operative to work part time (17 hours per week) evenings and weekends on a rostered basis. The pro rata salary would be between £11,061.27 to £11,374.38 per annum.
