The Trustees are looking to recruit to the post of Estates Manager NJC Points 37-40 £48,226 - £51,356 per annum Full Time/Full Year Commencing as soon as possible New Bridge Multi-Academy Trust is a vibrant, aspirational and inclusive multi-academy trust of eight special schools and two specialist post-16 provisions across Oldham, Tameside and Rochdale. As part of the wider New Bridge Group there are also two post-19 provisions. Our settings support a wide spectrum of needs from age 4-19 and beyond. The Trust is proud to be national leaders in Special Education and has a culture of creating outstanding opportunities for all. We are at an exciting point in our development, and this role will play a key role in supporting our schools and leaders to deliver high quality education through excellent estates management. We are looking to appoint an experienced, dynamic and values-driven Estates Manager responsible for the overall safety and security of the Trust sites across our MAT. This is a pivotal role that will support our mission to deliver high-quality education and improve outcomes for all young people across our schools. The post holder will support the development and implementation of a comprehensive estates and facilities strategy, ensuring that all environments are safe, compliant, inclusive and fully enabling for our children and young people with SEND. We are at an exciting point in our development, and this role will be crucial in supporting our schools and supporting the Head of Estates in shaping the estates strategy of the Trust as we continue to grow. We invite applications from individuals with substantial experience of estates management, ideally already in the education or public sector. The successful candidate will have experience of:
- Proactively providing central estates support across the Trust with the aim of delivering high quality learning environments
- Implementation and maintenance of access security systems
- Maintaining and repairing pool plant
- Organising and planning maintenance schedules
- Completing paperwork, maintaining records and producing reports, including financial reports
- Monitoring external contractors/ specifications, and contributing to planning and progressing buildings projects
- Health and safety procedures and regulations e.g. COSHH, including moving, lifting and handling regulations and the writing of risk assessments, and mitigation of potential hazards
