Full Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Estates Manager to lead the day-to-day management of a designated cluster of campuses, ensuring they are safe, secure, compliant and fully operational to support an outstanding learning environment. This is a key operational leadership role, acting as the main point of contact for Assistant Principals and curriculum colleagues on all estates and facilities matters, and playing a vital role in driving service improvement, compliance and sustainability across the estate., Reporting to the Head of Estates and Maintenance, you will lead and manage a multi-disciplinary estates team, with matrix oversight of cleaning and security services.You will take ownership of all estates-related activities on your campuses, from reactive repairs and planned maintenance to contractor performance, compliance, and energy management, ensuring high-quality, cost-effective services are delivered at all times.You will also work collaboratively with other Estates Managers and Project Managers to support a consistent, college-wide approach to estates and facilities management.

You will be an experienced estates or facilities professional with strong leadership and organisational skills. You will take a hands-on lead in the day-to-day delivery of estates and premises services, ensuring campuses are safe, welcoming, compliant and fit for purpose.Working closely with curriculum and support colleagues, you will lead and support the estates team, manage contractors and resources, and oversee maintenance, compliance and emergency response arrangements.With a strong focus on service quality, health & safety, sustainability and value for money, you will use systems and performance data to drive continuous improvement and support inclusive, college-wide activities that enable students and staff to thrive.

  • Competitive salary -£33,742 to £42,182per annum FTE. (This will be pro-rata for part time posts)
