We are seeking an experienced Estates Information & Data Manager (Digital Estate Information) to help lead the governance, development and transformation of the information that underpins our estate. From Building Information Modelling (BIM) and CAFM/IWMS to asset management, space management and emerging Smart Campus technologies, you will play a pivotal role in transforming our estate information into trusted, connected and ready to support the next generation of estates services.

This is a unique opportunity to help establish and lead the University's Digital Estate Information capability, developing the standards, governance and information architecture that will enable better decision-making, operational excellence and long-term estate planning. Working across Estates and Campus Services, Digital Services and external partners, you will influence how information is created, managed and utilised throughout the asset lifecycle.

If you are passionate about digital transformation, information management and the future of the built environment, this is an opportunity to make a lasting impact within one of the UK's leading universities.

About you

You are passionate about information, digital transformation and improving how organisations use data to make better decisions.

You will have experience managing information, ideally within estates backgrounds, within enterprise platforms such as CAFM, IWMS, EAM or similar systems, together with a strong understanding of information governance, structured data and information lifecycle management. Experience of BIM information management, ISO 19650, asset information standards or digital engineering would be highly desirable.

You will enjoy developing standards, solving complex information challenges, and working collaboratively with colleagues from operational, technical and project backgrounds. Equally comfortable discussing data architecture with technical specialists or presenting governance principles to stakeholders, you will be an effective communicator who can influence without direct authority.

Highly organised and analytical, you will be capable of balancing day-to-day operational priorities with longer-term strategic development, continuously improving the quality, consistency, and value of estates based information across the University.

If you are excited by the opportunity to shape the future of Digital Estate Information Management within a leading research-intensive university, we would be delighted to hear from you.
