Full Job Description
The Dee Estuary team are seeking an experienced, dynamic and motivated Estate worker to join the team, based at Woolston Eyes Nature Reserve. Working alongside our Assistant warden your role will be incredibly varied, and you'll carry out a range of tasks including - delivering habitat management, species surveying, maintenance tasks, and working with some amazing volunteers. We are seeking an individual who has excellent estate management skills and experience in using and repairing a range of machinery. They should be a strong team player but be confident working independently and setting their own priorities.,
- Habitat management and grounds maintenance
- Routine operation, record keeping, servicing and maintenance of machinery and vehicles to ensure they are operating safely and efficiently.
- Keeping up to date health and safety records to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and to enable improvements to be set.
- Maintaining a good working relationship with our partners Essential
- Using and maintaining vehicles, machinery, tools, and equipment to agreed standards.
- Practical land management experience and delivering estate management works., Biological recording
- Knowledge/understanding of nature conservation.
- Lanta or equivalent qualification in tractors, trailers, chainsaw, brushcutter and knapsack sprayers.

This is a 12 month Contract, Full Time role for 37.5 hours per week.
