Estate Gardener

Claremont is seeking a skilled, enthusiastic and self-motivated Estate Gardener to join our grounds team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced gardener to make a genuine impact on our beautiful 100-acre Grade I listed historic estate. Working within a dedicated team, you will play a key role in maintaining and developing the school's gardens, borders, landscaped areas, woodland spaces and wider grounds to an exceptional standard. The successful candidate will have strong horticultural knowledge, practical gardening experience and a passion for creating and maintaining attractive outdoor environments. You will contribute to the ongoing enhancement of the estate, bringing creativity, attention to detail and a proactive approach to your work. The ideal candidate will have:

• An NVQ Level 2 in Horticulture, RHS Level 3 in Horticulture, or an equivalent qualification.
• Experience maintaining large gardens, estates, schools or landscaped environments.
• Practical experience operating horticultural machinery and equipment.
• A good understanding of health and safety requirements.
• A full driving licence.
