We're currently growing our Escalator Installation and Modernisation team and are looking for talented Escalator Engineers to join us. As an Escalator Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering the installation and modernisation of escalators across a range of project sites. You'll ensure every unit is completed to the highest standards of safety, quality, and performance. Working alongside a specialist team, you'll play a key role in bringing new equipment into service and upgrading existing infrastructure across high-profile environments. While our escalator team is primarily based in Keighley, our projects span nationwide; from London to Scotland. As we continue to grow, we're building regional capability to support this expansion.
What you can expect:
- A varied role where no two days are the same
- Exposure to some of the UK's busiest and most interesting sites
- A supportive team culture backed by expertise from our Keighley hub
- A career with a company that prioritises safety, quality, and innovation
Why join KONE:
- Be part of a global leader in escalators and people flow solutions
- Work on critical infrastructure where safety and reliability are essential
- Join a service-driven organisation with long-term contracts and stability
- Benefit from structured training and continuous technical development
- Access opportunities to progress into senior, specialist, or leadership roles
What's in it for you?
- Competitive salary depending on experience
- Electric company van plus free home charging installation
- Paid travel, overtime and working away allowance
- 25 Days Holiday + 8 Bank Holidays + 1 Volunteering Day
- Performance related bonus
- In addition to the above we offer a wide range of financial, lifestyle, health and wellbeing benefits that you can tailor to your needs, including Dental Insurance, Private medical, GymFlexi Membership & Kone discounts.
To be considered for this role, you should have:
- NVQ Level 3 in Escalator Engineering or equivalent
- UK driving licence (a KONE van will be provided)
This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Employee engagement is a key focus area for us and we encourage participation and the sharing of information and ideas. Sustainability is an integral part of our culture and the daily practice. We follow ethical business practices and we seek to develop a culture of working together where co-workers trust and respect each other and good performance is recognized.
