ERP Workstream Lead ICT

We are inviting expressions of interest from experienced and enthusiastic experts to play a pivotal role in the implementation plan for our new Enterprise Resource Planning Solution (ERP). This is a unique opportunity to shape a joined-up Finance, HR and Payroll system that helps ensure the tools we use every day truly work for us and end users across the authority. It's also a chance for you to develop your strategic thinking and experience of change management within a supportive project team. We are recruiting to this vacancy on an a fixed term contract until end September 2027 and are looking for individuals who can bring their knowledge and experience of ICT, to take the lead on the ICT workstream for the programme.Main Responsibility As a key member of the programme team you will:

• Lead the ICT workstream and be the main contact for all ICT matters on the programme.
• Ensure the system configuration reflects the needs of the business, and creating an improved end user experience.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure their voice shapes the system design.
• Attend and contribute to workshops, testing, documentation reviews and system sign off.
• Work with the testing manager to develop test plans and help resolve issues or defects.
• Support the creation and delivery of quality training and guidance for all users.
• Lead planning and readiness for go live including processes, data and training
• Act as lead and the key communication link between the project and the subject matter experts in your area of expertise, create strong links with internal ICT colleagues, ensuring that all ICT needs are met for the programme.

Previous experience of system change would be useful but is not essential. How we work: There will be a requirement for a significant amount of office based working to support configuration and training throughout the project. Our office is located in Stafford.
