Introduction
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who already has good basic equine experience looking to build a career in the equestrian industry while completing a full apprenticeship through Haddon Training.
About the Employer
Buckleap Stables is a well-established equestrian yard based in Arnold, Nottingham, offering full, part and assisted livery services. The yard is home to around 60 horses, including competition horses, resting and retired racehorses. With a range of facilities including a floodlit ménage, lunge pen, off-road hacking, cross-country jumps and a jump field, Buckleap provides a varied environment for both horses and riders.
What You'll Do
All daily yard duties to include:
- Mucking out, feeding and turnout
- Lunging
- Grooming and tacking up
- Maintaining high standards of horse care and yard presentation
- Learning and developing new skills in a professional environment
- Some riding available for the right candidate
Training Outcome
There is the possibility to progress on to level 3 Senior Equine Groom or to a full-time job for the right candidate.
