Equestrian Assistant - Casual

We're looking for a friendly, reliable, and motivated Casual Equestrian Assistant to join our team. This flexible role is ideal for someone passionate about horses who enjoys working outdoors and being part of a supportive yard environment. You will help with the day-to-day care of horses and upkeep of the yard, ensuring high standards of welfare, safety, and organisation are maintained at all times. What You Will Do

• Assist with the day-to-day care of horses, including feeding, grooming, and mucking out
• Help prepare horses for riding or exercise (tacking up and untacking)
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of stables, yard, and equipment
• Turn horses out and bring them in safely
• Monitor horse wellbeing and report any concerns to senior staff
• Clean and maintain tack and yard equipment
• Support riders, trainers, and visitors in a professional and helpful manner
• Assist with general yard duties to ensure smooth daily operations
• Follow all health, safety, and yard procedures.
  
  Some equestrian experience is preferred but not essential
• A genuine interest in horses and their welfare
• A positive, can-do attitude and willingness to learn
• Reliable and flexible approach to work
• Ability to work well within a team
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
• Physically fit and able to carry out manual tasks.
