Full Job Description
- Support a large-scale Electronic Patient Record (EPR) implementation on a hybrid basis
- Design and deliver workflows and processes in a clinical environment
- Collaborate with senior clinical staff, medical consultants, and other senior managers
- Deliver benefits from the implementation of technology and services
- Manage and deliver complex technical projects to tight deadlines
- Provide application support service delivery
- Configure and adapt EPR technology to meet user needs
- Present complex technical information to non-technical audiences
- Negotiate and employ effective persuasive techniques with senior-level staff
- Analyze and resolve complex process and analytical problems
- Balance multiple tasks simultaneously while meeting conflicting deadlines Technologies:
- Excel
- Support
General education to degree level, equivalent professional qualification or equivalent experience - IT Qualification in Excel (or equivalent experience)
- Epic certified in at least one application (desirable)
- PRINCE/MSP or other project management qualification (desirable)
- Design and delivery of workflows/processes in a clinical environment
- Experience of delivery of benefits from the implementation of technology/services
- Experience of working with the Epic EPR system
- Experience of working with senior clinical staff, medical consultants, and other senior managers
- Experience of delivering complex technical projects to tight deadlines
- Experience of managing clinical and/or operational services within the NHS (desirable)
- Electronic Patient Record (EPR) design and delivery in a clinical environment (desirable)
- Configuration and adaptation of EPR technology to meet the needs of users (desirable)
- Application support service delivery (desirable)
- Previous NHS experience (desirable)
- Thorough understanding of clinical and/or operational workflows and processes in a healthcare setting
- Knowledge of the Epic EPR system
- Understanding of Information Governance
