Environmental Waste Operative

We are looking for an Environmental Waste Services Officer to join our team.

This is a part time post of 15 hours per week, working Saturday and Sunday 07:00 - 15:00, Main duties are to ensure the day to day handling and disposal of waste is in accordance with approved practices. The Environmental Services Officer will be employed to cover any post on any shift in the team. They will collect waste and/or laundry from areas around the Trust and transport it to the Trust's Waste Transfer Stations or waste storage points.

The successful candidate will be self motivated, with excellent team working and communication skills. Experience of working with the public is essential.

Experience of waste management/handling would be an advantage.
