Environmental Monitoring Technician

RSK Geosciences an RSK Group company are recruiting for an Environmental Monitoring Technician to join the team based in Bristol, UK. This is a full-time, permanent position. Responsibilities:

• Managing geoenvironmental monitoring and sampling fieldworks; activities including gas and ground water monitoring, in-situ geotechnical testing, stockpile and soil sampling
• Supporting the site engineers in undertaking initial site walkovers and delivering ground investigations
• Managing samples and data collected as part of ground investigations
• Production of factual field recorded reports for the geoenvironmental monitoring
  
  A Levels/Highers/HNC in maths, English and science subjects
• BSc degree level qualified in Geology, Chemistry, Environmental Science or a related subject advantageous but not essential
• CSCS card advantageous however not essential
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Previous similar work experience in particular environmental monitoring is desirable but not essential, however a basic understanding of site works and field investigation is preferable. Full training will be given
