An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Shropshire Council's Health Protection Teamas an Environmental Health Practitioner. This role will give you the opportunity to workin a busy team overseeing Private Water Supply sampling and risk assessmentprogrammes including wider regulatory work that helps protect residents, supportbusinesses and promote safe, fair trading across Shropshire.You will be supporting regulatory projects, inspections, investigations, sampling,complaints, data analysis and customer enquiries. You will help maintain accuratedatabase records, consider appropriate enforcement options and support innovativecompliance activity in a broad range of supplies including domestic and commercialsupplies, contributing to work that improves public health, business compliance andcommunity wellbeing.

We are looking for someone who is motivated to learn, well organised, customerfocused and able to communicate effectively with colleagues, businesses, partneragencies and members of the public about statutory requirements of the programme.
