Environmental Health Officer

We are seeking a motivated and committed Environmental Health Officer to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a service that plays a vital role in protecting public health and ensuring high standards across the borough. You will be part of a team that undertakes a wide range of work, including:

• Food Safety and Food Standards inspections
• Infectious disease control
• Investigation of food complaints
• Smokefree compliance
• Health & Safety
• Exhumations
• Other EH duties as required.
We are a busy, professional team that values collaboration and continuous development. You'll have the chance to broaden your skills and experience, with support to achieve at least 20 hours of CPD each year.


• A self-motivated team player with strong communication skills
• Ability to manage and prioritise your own workload
• A full driving licence, access to a vehicle and business use insurance as travel across the borough is essential.
