Please note:This role is based at our Bristol HQ, where we work ona 50% hybrid working model. Principle Accountabilities
- Define and deliver the Enterprise Data Platform strategy and roadmap, ensuring platform capabilities align with business priorities and future growthobjectives.
- Lead the development and evolution of platform services, ensuring they are secure, scalable, reliable and easy for teams to consume.
- Drive operational excellence, overseeing platform performance, availability, incident management, servicequalityand continuous improvement initiatives
- Establish and enforce platform governance,standardsand guardrails, ensuring compliance with architectural, security and service management requirements.
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders,vendorsand delivery teams to support platform adoption,modernisationand long-term sustainability.
- Own platform investment andoptimisationdecisions, balancing innovation, cost,riskand technical debt tomaximisebusiness value and platform resilience Skills and Experience Required
- Significant experiencein platform strategy, platform engineering, technology services, dataplatformsor related technology leadership roles.
- Proven experience defining roadmaps, standards, governancemodelsand service improvements within a complex enterprise environment.
- Strong understanding of platform architecture, security, operational resilience, servicemanagementand technology delivery.
- Experience working collaboratively across Product, Engineering, Architecture, Security,Dataand business functions to deliver successful outcomes.
- Ability to balance innovation, risk, cost,reliabilityand business priorities while influencing stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong analytical, problem-solvingand communication skills, with experience working in matrix and partner-led environments.
