Full Job Description

  • We support technology initiatives once they enter the Enterprise Architecture function, regardless of origin.
  • We help shape and clarify requests so objectives, scope, and outcomes are clearly understood.
  • We engage with delivery teams and stakeholders to gather context and confirm requirements.
  • We support conversations focused on underlying business and technical needs rather than pre-selected solutions.
  • We coordinate architecture reviews, workshops, and governance forums.
  • We maintain visibility of architecture decisions, actions, and follow-ups.
  • We track progress of initiatives through agreed Enterprise Architecture governance processes.
  • We ensure architecture work is structured, prioritised, and effectively supported.
  • We apply broad technical understanding across applications, infrastructure, platforms, and data.
  • We identify overlaps with existing technology capabilities or ongoing initiatives.
  • We support constructive challenge and informed decision-making.
  • We prepare well-framed documentation and briefing packs for senior architecture stakeholders.
  • We maintain architecture registers, inventories, and supporting documentation.
  • We support capture of architecture standards, principles, and reference materials.
  • We produce clear, structured documentation to support governance and review outcomes.
  • We ensure information is accurate, up to date, and accessible to varied audiences.
  • We build strong working relationships with architects, project teams, service owners, and business stakeholders.
  • We act as a bridge between technical and non-technical audiences.
  • We communicate confidently with senior leaders and delivery teams alike.

    We require at least 5 years of experience in technical project management, delivery management, or a similar role.
  • We require a strong background in Microsoft-centric environments, including Azure, Microsoft 365, and Entra ID.
  • We require experience working within or alongside enterprise architecture, governance, or technology assurance functions.
  • We require proven ability to coordinate complex, multi-domain technology initiatives.
  • We require excellent organisational and documentation skills.
  • We require the ability to start immediately.
  • We require confidence communicating with senior technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • We require a strong analytical mindset with the ability to challenge assumptions constructively.
  • We require comfort working in evolving or less mature governance environments.
  • We require a proactive, pragmatic, and highly organised approach.
  • We require the ability to understand technology requests without needing deep specialist expertise.
  • We would prefer experience in business analysis or hybrid PM/BA roles.
  • We would prefer familiarity with enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF.
  • We would prefer experience working in large, complex enterprise organisations.
  • We would prefer exposure to architecture governance boards or review forums.
