ENT Fellow Interest Otolaryngology H&N

Oxford University Hospitals NHS Trust is looking to appoint a Head and Neck Surgical Oncology Fellow. This is a fixed term post for a duration of 12 months. The post holder should be post CCT. They must have experience of working within the NHS and be able to demonstrate a good command of the English language. Candidates are encouraged to visit the Department after short listing and should contact Mrs Lisa Fraser or Mr Rajeev Mathew on . The post holder is expected to attend the Head and Neck MDT on a regular basis, and run the head and neck fast track neck lump service,

• Full GMC with licence to practice
• Medical Degree
• Eligible for entry on to the GMC Specialist Register for ENT via CCT or CESR, or within 6 months of this.
• Experience of working in the NHS at registrar level or higher
• Demonstrable special commitment to a career in Head & Neck
Desirable criteria
• A higher degree in an associated area of head and neck disease, Essential criteria
• Completion of training in ENT via CCT or CESR, or within 6 months of completion
• Evidence of ability to make decisions at senior registrar level and to manage complex clinical problems, Excellent leadership skills. Evidence of ability to lead a clinical team
• Effective administration and time management skills.
• Training in clinical management.
• Evidence of significant contribution to successful teamwork.
• Good spoken and written English
• Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience of formal and informal contributions to teaching and training
• Evidence of effective and sustained contribution to clinical governance, clinical risk management and clinical audit activities.
