Full Job Description
Oxford University Hospitals NHS Trust is looking to appoint a Head and Neck Surgical Oncology Fellow. This is a fixed term post for a duration of 12 months. The post holder should be post CCT. They must have experience of working within the NHS and be able to demonstrate a good command of the English language. Candidates are encouraged to visit the Department after short listing and should contact Mrs Lisa Fraser or Mr Rajeev Mathew on . The post holder is expected to attend the Head and Neck MDT on a regular basis, and run the head and neck fast track neck lump service,
- Full GMC with licence to practice
- Medical Degree
- Eligible for entry on to the GMC Specialist Register for ENT via CCT or CESR, or within 6 months of this.
- Experience of working in the NHS at registrar level or higher
- Demonstrable special commitment to a career in Head & Neck Desirable criteria
- A higher degree in an associated area of head and neck disease, Essential criteria
- Completion of training in ENT via CCT or CESR, or within 6 months of completion
- Evidence of ability to make decisions at senior registrar level and to manage complex clinical problems, Excellent leadership skills. Evidence of ability to lead a clinical team
- Effective administration and time management skills.
- Training in clinical management.
- Evidence of significant contribution to successful teamwork.
- Good spoken and written English
- Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience of formal and informal contributions to teaching and training
- Evidence of effective and sustained contribution to clinical governance, clinical risk management and clinical audit activities. Desirable criteria

- Peer reviewed publications.
- Higher Degree, You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
