Enhanced Health Care Support Worker - Endoscopy

This is an exciting opportunity to join a busy Endoscopy Unit that provides a wide range of diagnostic, therapeutic, and acute upper and lower gastrointestinal endoscopic procedures for both in-patients and out-patients. Working alongside a highly skilled and motivated multidisciplinary team, you will play an important role in delivering high-quality patient care and supporting the smooth running of the service. Knowledge of Endoscopy, General Surgery, and Gastroenterology would be advantageous., As part of the multidisciplinary team, you will support registered nursing staff by carrying out a range of direct and indirect patient care duties within the Endoscopy Unit. You will provide specialist care to patients before, during, and after procedures, assist in maintaining a safe and clean clinical environment, support patient admissions and discharges, undertake patient observations, ensure specimens are accurately labelled and dispatched, maintain stock and equipment levels, and contribute to the delivery of high standards of care.
