Enhanced Care Team Leader

We are seeking two exceptional individuals to act as Enhanced Care Team leaders, who will deliver effective and efficient operational management and clinical oversight of enhanced care within the organisation to our most vulnerable patients. The postholder will work closely with emergency department and inpatient ward staff, providing expert assessment and allocation of resources, and providing motivational leadership to a team of junior staff, role modelling a psychologically safe and trauma-informed approach. The enhanced care team leader will be responsible for working within the set budget, clinical governance, and staff development and training. The post holder will be expected to provide professional leadership within the clinical area and provide direction, and inspirational leadership to all members of the multi-disciplinary team working alongside the enhanced care team. The post holder will be involved in the development of protocols/guidelines and patient information. The post holder will be responsible for ensuring that there are systems and processes for the planning, provision and review of enhanced care. The post holder will ensure that the enhanced care team deliver therapeutic engagement and interventions to patients with mental health conditions, cognitive impairment or those experiencing psychological distress whilst working in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders such as the Liaison Psychiatry Service. They will provide regular reports on the effectiveness of the team in delivering quality care by reducing restrictive practices and incidents of harm.
