Full Job Description

We are looking for enthusiastic and engaging Tutors to deliver English, Maths and Preparing for Adulthood sessions to young people across Lincolnshire.

Due to recent changes in immigration law in the UK we are unable to offer skilled worker visa sponsorship for this role as it does not meet the requirements.

About the Role

InspireU learning environments are small, supportive and learner focused, with class sizes typically no bigger than 14 - 16 learners. We have sites across Lincolnshire including Boston, Grantham, Lincoln, Louth, Ruskington, Skegness and Spalding.

We are currently recruiting for a variety of tutoring roles with a variety of hours available, including part time and full time opportunities.

There are opportunities to work across different locations, and we are open to discussions around preferred sites and working patterns to support work-life balance where possible.

In these roles you will deliver inspiring, engaging and adaptive sessions to young people aged 16 - 24, helping learners develop the skills, confidence and independence needed for adulthood, further learning and employment.

You will deliver qualifications from Entry Level through to GCSE, alongside RARPA (Recognising and Recording Progress and Achievement through Non-Accredited Learning) based programmes.

Our teaching ethos is built around active learning, strong relationships and recognising the individual starting points of every learner. We are committed to ensuring all learners make meaningful progress.

Successful candidates may already hold a teaching qualification and will ideally have experience of working with young people, including those with additional needs, barriers to learning, challenging behaviour and/or Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).

We will also consider applications from individuals who are not yet qualified teachers but have relevant vocational experience, subject knowledge or a passion for supporting young people and a willingness to train.

InspireU will support you on your journey by providing access to appropriate training, mentoring and coaching alongside classroom teaching experience.

You will:

Have strong communication and interpersonal skills
Be able to motivate and engage learners
Have effective behaviour management skills
Be flexible and willing to travel to other sites when required
Have a positive, solutions-focused mindset and a "can do" attitude
Be passionate about helping young people succeed

Whether you are an experienced tutor or looking for your first step into teaching, we would love to hear from you., In accordance with Part 7 of the Immigration Act 2016 (Fluency Duty), the ability to converse at ease with customers and provide advice in accurate spoken English is essential for the post.

Our values - collaborative, adaptable, eco-conscious, supportive, and responsible - guide everything we do. We're looking for candidates who share these values and bring them to life in their work, helping us build strong teams and make a real difference in the communities we serve.
