Introduction

Advanced Electric Machines is a UK manufacturer of sustainable electric motors using rare earth free technology supplying global customers.
What You'll Do
- Supporting manufacturing process development and continuous improvement
- Assisting with production optimisation for efficiency and quality
- Analysing data and supporting root cause investigations
- Applying lean manufacturing and standard work
- Supporting quality inspections and non-conformance investigations
- Developing process documentation (SOPs, work instructions)
- Supporting trials and introduction of new processes
- Working on improvement projects (cycle time, scrap reduction)
- Interpreting engineering drawings
Training Outcome
This apprenticeship is designed as a pathway into a process engineering career.
On successful completion, you can progress into:
- Manufacturing / Process Technician
- Junior Process Engineer
- Continuous Improvement Engineer
