Are you early in your engineering surveying career, ready to grow your skills and make your mark on a landmark UK infrastructure project? The Engineering Surveying Technician (EST) role offers a chance to be part of something extraordinary - supporting the transformation of the A66, a key east-west route that links Cumbria and the North East.,
- Supporting daily site survey activities, both independently and as part of a team
- Capturing, managing, and organising survey data for use in QA/QC, LTQR packs, and CDEs
- Assisting with as-built drawings, data packaging, and digital model interpretation
- Providing accurate site records, diary entries, photographs, and site notes
- Checking and maintaining survey equipment
- Helping with safety initiatives, including daily briefings and hazard reporting
- Collaborating with engineers, contractors, and designers to ensure clarity in construction information
- Mentoring and guiding junior surveyors, promoting knowledge sharing across the team
What You'll Bring - A passion for engineering surveying and a keen eye for detail
- Experience or qualifications in construction, civil engineering, or surveying (or working towards)
- Familiarity with digital models, construction schedules, and survey tools/software
- A positive, can-do attitude with a willingness to learn and contribute
- SSSTS qualification (or willingness to obtain)
