Are you an engineering Subject Matter Expert for projects in a manufacturing environment?Role Responsibilities - Engineering Project LeaderManage the planning and implementation of capital and revenue projects, covering factory equipment, process, packing lines, site services, process engineering, as well as construction
design managementDriving line installations and BAU engineering projectsPlan, execute and lead project activities for feasibility studies, equipment specifications, supplier selections, equipment commissioning and validation within demanding time-scalesReporting directly to the Project Engineering Manager, you will have complete autonomy to deliver pragmatic, value-engineered projects to cost and time specificationsYou will coach, mentor, and develop your multi-functional teams of engineers and designers/contractors to ensure the successful delivery of projectsThe projects will cover factory equipment, including packaging, processing, and site activitiesEngineering Compliance Champion: Ensure all engineering activities meet industry standardsYou will lead engineering and production teams during equipment installation and start-up, supplier selection, feasibility and justification analysis, and equipment commissioningLiaise with departments cross-functionally to ascertain requirements and
define project scopesPreparing specifications/briefs which will go to external suppliers for tenderManaging tender processes, including supplier selection exercisesManaging external suppliers throughout the project lifecycleLead, monitor and review projects internally across departmentsCo-ordinating all contractors in accordance with our policiesQualifications & Requirements - Engineering project LeaderMechanical or Electrical Engineering backgrounds will be considered, ideally in a regulated environment, from high FMCG volume manufacturingExperience developing technical engineering solutions in automated environmentsAn experienced Project Engineer from FMCG manufacturing, food preferredIdeally, A degree in Engineering or time served Engineering qualifications with a further education qualification in project managementHigh level of IT literacy (and ideally fully conversant with MS Project)Proven Leadership and senior stakeholder management: Significant experience in a senior
