Job Description

This is a crucial role within the Engineering department that will include shift working. The Engineering Production Controller will support the 24/7 engineering operation from the Head Office in London with occasional travel to other facilities in our network.

Key Accountabilities

• Compliance of the UBTC fleet of vessels through effective planning.


• Vessel availability ensuring the maximum capacity is available for our customers whilst maintaining compliance at all times and ensuring vessel appearance is of the highest standards.


• All work packages are completed in accordance with procedures in place and to the highest standards.


• Compile maintenance documentation in accordance with procedures.


• All reports are maintained to assist in improving KPIs.

Requirements

• Planning and organisational skills.


• Interpersonal, collaborative, and influencing abilities.


• Analysis and interpretation of data to enable production of optimized plans.


• Ability to work to deadlines and respond to operational changes.


• Multitasking with various departments whilst maintaining a calm and professional attitude.


• Ability to work on own initiative with minimal supervision.


• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.


• Marine engineering experience/knowledge.


• Familiarisation with the management of ISM compliance.


• Familiarisation with the IMO High Speed Craft Code.
