Full Job Description
- Ensure the design and supplier's equipment meets the contract requirements
- Ability to manage stakeholders, to ensure delivery of outputs is in accordance with the project plan and to the contract's quality standards
- Management of technical change
- Management of technical risk
- Independent reviewer of the technical development of the design and assisting in resolving technical issues, This role is full time, 37 hours per week and is adaptable and can be delivered from various locations including Bristol, Devonport or Rosyth This role is based in Poland for the first 9-12 months.Essential experience of the Engineering Manager
Proven Naval Surface Ships shipbuilding knowledge and experience within their area of expertise. - Ability to be flexible and mindful of cultural differences when managing the international customers Qualifications for the Engineering Manager
- Chartered Engineer, Engineering degree or comparable academic standard, in relevant discipline
- Association of Project Management (APM) Project Management Qualification (PMQ) or equivalent Security Clearance The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.Many of the positions within our company are subject to national security clearance and Trade Control restrictions.
