The Supply Register is recruiting experienced Engineering Lecturers to support Further Education colleges across the North East on a flexible basis. This opportunity is ideal for candidates with experience delivering qualifications in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Fabrication & Welding, Manufacturing, CNC Machining, or General Engineering.

The clients we work with include:

• NCG (Newcastle College and Newcastle Sixth Form)


• Tyne Coast College (Tyne Met and South Tyneside)


• EPNE (Sunderland College, Northumberland College, HICSA, Hartlepool Sixth Form, and Sunderland Sixth Form)


• New College Durham

The Role

As an Engineering Lecturer, you will support learners to develop technical knowledge, practical skills, and achieve their qualifications.

Key responsibilities include:

• Delivering engaging theory and practical engineering lessons


• Supporting learners to achieve academic and vocational qualifications


• Assessing learner work and providing constructive feedback


• Monitoring and tracking learner progress


• Creating a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment

What We're Looking For

• Relevant Engineering qualification


• Previous experience teaching Engineering within Further Education


• Teaching qualification (or willingness to obtain)


• Strong communication and classroom management skills


• Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain)
