Full Job Description

Coordinator / Planner plays a critical role in the planning, coordination, and
delivery of engineering and maintenance activities across a brand-new flagship
facility for a global FMCG company. The position ensures the safe, compliant,
and efficient execution of both planned and reactive works, supporting
operational continuity and high service standards.This role acts as a
key interface between engineering teams, contractors, and the client, ensuring
all activities are effectively managed through the CMMS system while
maintaining full compliance with health & safety, GMP, and site-specific
procedures.Key ResponsibilitiesCoordinate and facilitate engineering activities raised via CMMS and Helpdesk systemsManage work order processes, including prioritisation, progress tracking, and timely completion in line with KPIsIssue permits to work and carry out safety walk-downs and site inspectionsReview work in progress, manage competing priorities, and respond effectively to emergencies and deadlinesPlan and coordinate day-to-day operational maintenance activities with internal teams and the clientManage small projects from quotation through to completionSupport contractor coordination and ensure all works are delivered safely and compliantlyReview and approve risk assessments and method statementsEnsure all maintenance activities comply with Health, Safety & Environmental (HS&E) standards and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP)Maintain and improve site standards through general upkeep and continuous improvement initiativesMonitor cost effectiveness of contract labour and support

financial control measuresRaise purchase requisitions and obtain quotations for planned and remedial worksProduce KPI reports and management information as requiredLead or participate in daily engineering meetings/huddlesMaintain accurate asset and maintenance data within CMMS systemsSupport Helpdesk and planning functions as requiredLiaise closely with client representatives to ensure high levels of service deliveryKey AccountabilitiesDeliver a high level of customer satisfaction through responsive and effective service coordinationEnsure efficient planning and organisation of maintenance activities in a fast-paced environmentMaintain compliance with all statutory, safety, and GMP requirementsContribute to continuous improvement of processes and service deliverySupport strong teamwork across client, internal teams, and service partnersSkills, Knowledge & ExperienceEssential:Minimum GCSE (or equivalent) educationExperience in helpdesk, planning, or coordination rolesStrong administrative
