Engineering Coach / Mentor Apprenticeships

Due to a huge expansion of apprenticeships, we currently have a vacancy to join our highly successful apprenticeship team, as a Coach/Mentor in Engineering Apprenticeships. You will ideally have Industry experience in Engineering.

Working with our Business Services and Engineering team in Farnborough, the post will include working with employers, apprentices, and working with colleagues from across the College to deliver high quality apprenticeships in a way that supports effective learning and high levels of retention and achievement.

The Coach/Mentor will support and guide the apprentices through their programme including assisting apprentices and employers to prepare for the end-point assessment for the apprenticeship standards. This will include visiting apprentices in their workplace to carry out regular reviews so some travel will be required.

Applicants will need to be qualified to at least level 3 and ideally have appropriate Engineering vocational experience. A high level of administration skills and organisation are key, and applicants must also have excellent communication and IT skills.
