We're looking for an experienced Engineering Assessor to help shape the next generation of engineers, If you've spent your career perfecting your skills in the workshop and want to pass that expertise on, this could be the perfect opportunity.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Delivering practical engineering skills and underpinning knowledge
  • Assessing learners in the workshop and workplace
  • Supporting apprentices and students to achieve their qualifications
  • Working with employers and colleagues to ensure learners succeed
  • Promoting high standards of health, safety and quality

What You'll Bring

  • A time-served apprenticeship and Advanced Technical Certificate or Full City & Guilds
  • Experience in milling and turning
  • A strong engineering industry background
  • Excellent communication and people skills
  • Good IT skills and a full driving licence
  • A passion for helping others develop and succeed

Desirable

  • CNC programming experience
  • Welding and fabrication knowledge
  • A teaching or assessor qualification (or willingness to work towards one)
