MPI are currently seeking2 x Senior Engineer Technicians to join a busy engineering environment in Cranfield, Bedfordshire. This is a fantastic opportunity for hands-on, practical engineers who enjoy problem-solving and working with test equipment in a fast-paced setting.
You will be working on the operation of test machines and supporting engineering activities in a highly practical, hands-on role. We're looking for individuals with a strong engineering background, a proactive attitude, and a "can do, fix it" mindset., Operate test machines safely and efficiently
Diagnose faults and troubleshoot technical issues
Carry out hands-on engineering tasks
Work collaboratively as part of a skilled technical team
Use practical problem-solving skills to keep operations running smoothly
Several years' engineering experience
Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting ability
A practical, hands-on approach
A positive "can do" attitude
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Position 1 - Preferred Background:
Instrumentation- PLCs (Programmable Logic Controls)
Experience within oil and gas and/or processing industries
Position 2 - Preferred Background:
Assembly rigs
Mechanical engineering
Experience within the automotive and/or refrigeration industries
Experience with pumps and pipelines
