Job AdvertEngineerGlendon Wood Hospital, Kettering37.5 Hours Per WeekAn exciting opportunity for an Engineer has arisen at Glendon Wood Hospital based in Kettering. In this role you will play a vital role in keeping our hospital safe, compliant, and operational. We're looking for a skilled and proactive Engineer to deliver high-quality maintenance and technical support across our sites.Where you'll be based:Our brand new state-of-the-art day case hospital is located in Glendon, Kettering. This new facility is an extension of the services delivered by the nearby Woodland Hospital.What you'll do:Act as the primary engineering contact for designated hospitals.Deliver Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and respond to reactive tasks within agreed Service Level Agreements.Ensure statutory inspections and remedial works are completed on time.Provide first-line support for medical gases and fire safety systems.Liaise with contractors, manage permits, and oversee minor repair works.Support
project management and compliance initiatives.Participate in multi-site on-call cover and provide holiday/sickness cover as neededWhat We're Looking For:City & Guilds Part 3, HNC, NVQ Level 4 or equivalent in Mechanical or Electrical EngineeringPost-apprenticeship maintenance experience, contractor coordination, and line managementMulti-skilled (preferably plumbing or electrical bias) with strong fault-finding skillsKnowledge of Health & Safety legislation, Legionella prevention, and MMS systemsExcellent communication, organisation, and time management skillsA full UK driving license is requiredWhy join us?At Ramsay Health Care UK, our people are at the heart of our success.
