Experteer Overview In this Engine QA Analyst role, you ensure the stability and quality of graphics engine features for Creative Assembly's games. You work within the Graphics development team to validate engine updates, coordinate across Core Technology, Tech Art, Tools and QA to understand workflows, and drive both manual and automated testing. You'll plan and execute tests, report findings clearly, and help improve QA processes to support long-term game quality and performance. This is a hands-on, collaborative role with a focus on delivering reliable graphics performance at scale. Pay / Benefits
- Test new and updated graphics engine features for functionality, performance and stability Design, execute and maintain engine feature test plans Perform milestone test sweeps to identify regressions and blockers Identify automation opportunities with developers and integrate checks into QA Diagnose and triage complex issues, produce actionable bug reports and support root cause analysis Collaborate with Engine, Tech Art, Tools and QA to understand workflows and dependencies Act as graphics testing lead, providing guidance and best practices Represent Engine QA in graphics meetings and agile ceremonies Produce clear stakeholder reports and contribute to QA process improvement Tasks Proven QA experience in game development or strong understanding of the software development lifecycle Technical QA experience within games or related software testing field Ability to self-manage workload and set testing priorities Strong organizational and time management skills Excellent communication skills, including documentation and reports Methodical and structured issue investigation and process adherence Experience working in Agile development environments Passion for video games and contributing to development processes Key requirements Work from Anywhere for a temporary period each year Enhanced holiday allowance and flexible core hours Performance-based discretionary bonus Bespoke relocation package Private medical and dental insurance, life insurance and health screenings Free games and work parties; technology discounts
