About the Employer
Cambridge Rebores Ltd is a specialist engine rebuilding and re-machining workshop based in Burwell. We take pride in precision craftsmanship and we work with a wide variety of engine components ranging from the early 1900s to modern-day vehicles. Our clients come from all over the UK, including garages, professional classic car restorers, race teams, and individual enthusiasts.
What You'll Do
- Disassemble cylinder heads and prepare them for machining
- Inspect engine components to see if they can be reused or need replacing
- Use precision measuring equipment such as micrometers and dial gauges
- Pressure test cylinder heads to check for internal cracks or leaks
- Clean and prepare components using specialised workshop equipment
- Maintain job cards to accurately track work progress for our customers
