Full Job Description
This is an entry-level role, ideal for someone ready to kickstart their career in pensions. You'll be part of our Engagement & Systems Team, helping to provide the best-in-class service to external and internal customers of the Kent Pension Fund. Your day-to-day will include:
- Handling a variety of administration tasks for employers and members.
- Using systems like Altair to process casework (some involving financial data)
- Answering customer enquires over the telephone, internet, or email, giving information and resolving queries.
- Dealing with data cleansing issues, ensuring the information that we hold is accurate.
- Providing excellent customer service with sensitivity and professionalism
You don't need pensions experience - just a willingness to learn about pensions and a great attitude! We're looking for people who are: - Organised and able to prioritise
- Clear communicators and customer focused
- Flexible and team-oriented
- Confident with IT (especially Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Qualified to GCSE Level 4 (Grade C) in Maths and English (or equivalent), This post is considered by KCC to be a customer-facing position. The Council therefore has a statutory duty under Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) to ensure that post holders have a command of spoken English/Welsh sufficient for the effective performance of the job requirements.
