Team, dedicated to improving the health and wellbeing of some of the most vulnerable children, young people, and families across Surrey. This role plays a vital part in delivering a specialist, enhanced Health Visiting service to communities experiencing homelessness and social exclusion, including asylum seekers, refugees, families in emergency accommodation, and those from marginalised or nomadic backgrounds such as Gypsy, Roma and Traveller communities., We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Engagement Support Officer to join the 0-19 Inclusion Health Team, dedicated to improving the health and wellbeing of vulnerable children, young people, and families across Surrey. This role plays a vital part in delivering a specialist, enhanced Health Visiting service to communities experiencing homelessness and social exclusion, including asylum seekers, refugees, families in emergency accommodation, and those from marginalised or nomadic backgrounds such as Gypsy, Roma and Traveller communities. As a key member of the team, you will support the delivery of targeted health interventions through assertive outreach and meaningful community engagement. Working in partnership with statutory services, voluntary organisations, and local community groups, you will help reduce barriers to accessing healthcare, address health inequalities, and strengthen connections between underserved populations and essential services.
