Full Job Description

We're looking for dynamic and compassionate people to join our team as Engagement Coordinators. You'll be a key link between MAN&BOY, our families, referral partners and volunteers, ensuring effective programme delivery, meaningful engagement and measurable impact. Both roles involve coordinating activity days, residential camps and courses, supporting families throughout their journey, developing partnerships and leading volunteers. You'll need to be comfortable working outdoors, building trusted relationships with parents and families, and working flexibly across evenings, weekends and residential programmes.

  • Are a natural people person who enjoys building trusted relationships with families, volunteers and professionals.
  • Understand the challenges facing boys and their families, particularly those with additional needs.
  • Have experience coordinating programmes, events or activities involving children and families.
  • Enjoy working outdoors and are confident leading activities and volunteers.
  • Are organised, proactive and happy working flexibly across a broad geographic area.
  • Both roles involve significant travel within their respective areas. A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle are highly desirable.

MAN&BOY is an ambitious children's charity dedicated to strengthening the relationship between boys and a significant male figure in their lives. We believe when positive role models are actively present, children, families and communities thrive. We work alongside families by encouraging men to be a mentor to the boys in their life. Through adventure-based programmes, we create opportunities for men and boys to connect, build confidence, improve wellbeing and strengthen family relationships.

The starting salary for this role is £28,000 per annum based on a 30 hour working week., We're happy to consider candidates for either role or both roles, depending on your experience, interests and location. If you would like to be considered for both positions, please make this clear in your cover letter. If you have a preference for one role, please indicate this too. We'll assess applications against the requirements of the relevant role(s) and will discuss your preferences further as part of the recruitment process. If you're looking for a varied, rewarding role where you can make a genuine difference to the lives of boys and their families, we'd love to hear from you. Contracts terms for each role can be found in the attached Job Descriptions attached - please note one is permanent and one is fixed term subject to contract award.
