- Support children from a range of ages, backgrounds and abilities
- Effectively engage students in their studies
- Play a proactive and pastoral role in positive behaviour management as well as interacting with the young people during extracurricular times, encouraging them to participate in the social and academic life of the school
- Be flexible, adaptable and have a positive attitude to working in a structured environment
- Effectively communicate with colleagues
- Have skills of empathy, listening, communication and the ability to respond to unexpressed need
- Willingness to undertake the further training that will be offered
You will be part of:
- A dedicated team of staff who strive for excellence
- A caring and inclusive ethos
- A school which has supportive Governors and Parents with high expectations of the school.
In return, we offer a competitive salary, pension, a supportive team, training and development and the potential for career progression to the right person.
