Endoscopy Technician

The Endoscopy Support Worker will participate in the decontamination, traceability and maintenance of endoscopes and other specialised equipment used in endoscopic procedures.

The Endoscopy Support Worker will also work under the supervision of the qualified nursing staff to participate and support the members of the multi-disciplinary team in delivering high quality patient care., 1. Improving representation at senior levels of staff with disabilities, from black, Asian, and ethnic minorities background, identify as LGBTQ+ and women, through improved recruitment and leadership development
2. Widening access (anchor institution) and employability
3. Improving the experience of staff with disability
4. Improving the EDI literacy and confidence of trust staff through training and development
5. Making equalities mainstream

We are looking for an innovative motivated Endoscopy Support Worker (ESW) to join our friendly Endoscopy team

We are a JAG accredited unit providing Bowel Cancer screening for South East London. We have 4 procedure rooms and will be expanding the unit due to increase work load.

We are a busy unit providing therapeutic, diagnostic and emergency service for both Inpatients as well as outpatients.

The successful candidate will have an excellent interpersonal relationship and communication skills and the ability to use their initiative.
