Endoscopy Booking Clerk - Colchester

An exciting opportunity has arisen for highly motivated, experienced administrator to join the Endoscopy Booking Team as a Booking Clerk across Colchester & Clacton Hospitals. In this role you will be contacting patients via the phone, directly to book patients for their endoscopy procedures to assist diagnosis via our 18 week, urgent and 2 week wait pathways. Working flexibility required as this role would be worked on a 7day rota shift basis. Hours are between 08:00 and 16:00 . This may be subject to change upon needs of the service., You will be responsible for booking patients in line with the Trust 'Patient Access Policy' and ensuring that all patients are allocated to an appropriate endoscopy list and procedures are carried out as soon as possible. You will need to be fully computer literate in all Microsoft applications and ideally have recent administrative experience. You will also need excellent organisational and communication skills, with the ability to prioritise own workload while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
