Full Job Description
This is an exciting opportunity to join Team Caerphilly and provide support across the wider Procurement and Information Services Team.
We pay an attractive salary of £27,711 - £30,060 and offer access to training and development opportunities.
The post holder will be responsible for providing effective and efficient on-site and remote support to end users on various technical issues raised within School and Corporate establishments.
The successful candidate will mainly work on-site, maintaining hardware, and fixing technical problems as quickly as possible but will also utilise remote access tools to provide resolutions
This role includes providing End User Computing support to customers with responsibility for managing the product life cycle and all service-raised incidents and requests. You will also be responsible for providing first-time resolution through troubleshooting and diagnosing or escalating faults to service desk managers and incident managers to investigate and resolve.
A relevant Level 3 qualification on the Credit and Qualifications Framework for Wales.
Knowledge of End User Computing technologies and how they impact a business including but not limited to Microsoft, Apple/iOS and Chrome technologies
Experience of implementation of changes as defined through IT service management.
A full UK Category B (Cars) driving licence to drive a Council vehicle (van)., Disability Confident
