Empty Homes & Major Repairs Manager

Cobalt is seeking an experienced and forward-thinking Empty Homes and Major Repairs Manager to play a central role in shaping and leading our in-house service. Working within the Property Services Directorate and reporting to the Assistant Director of Repairs, you will help drive the continued development of a high-quality service.
You will oversee the effective delivery of voids and major repair works, coordinate specialist local subcontractors and lead a team of technical specialists, team leaders, trade colleagues and partners. A strong commercial mindset is essential, with the ability to identify opportunities for service improvement and growth while maintaining exceptional standards and robust commercial management.
The role involves addressing operational challenges, implementing practical solutions and driving continuous improvement across the service. Your leadership will directly support Cobalt's commitment to providing safe, well-maintained homes and delivering an excellent customer experience.
Cobalt Housing is a registered housing association based in North Liverpool. We manage and maintain around 6,000 affordable homes in Fazakerley and Sparrow Hall, Croxteth and Norris Green.
