Employment Support Officer

We are looking for enthusiastic Employment Support Officers to join us promoting our services to local people and supporting them to move into employment, education, or training through intensive support, including the new Connect to Work programme., You will deliver high quality employment support by providing tailored, one-to-one, and small group interventions to residents facing barriers to work including care experienced young people, ex-offenders and people with disabilities, mental health conditions, or long-term health issues supporting them into sustainable paid employment or training. You will deliver and support specialist employment programmes, delivered against Supported Employment Qualitative Framework (SEQF) and Individual Placement Support (IPS).

To be successful in this role, you will need to be:-

• Educated to Level 4 or above in a relevant field or have extended relevant experience.
• Experienced in working with young people and adults with emotional, social, and behavioural difficulties.
• Experienced in working in the community and supporting people with employment and skills needs.
• An effective communicator., This post is eligible for an Enhanced DBS check for regulated activity for working with children.
