Full Job Description

SkillsHouse are currently recruiting for Employment Specialist Advisers to support the delivery of the Connect to Work model across Bradford District. This is an opportunity to work within a purpose-driven organisation helping individuals with health conditions or barriers to secure meaningful employment and sustainable jobs. As an Employment Specialist Adviser you will manage a small caseload within communities, delivering one-to-one support to help prepare clients for, enter, and sustain employment. You will build strong relationships with clients, health professionals, community stakeholders and employers to deliver a tailored and person-centred service that promotes social inclusion, well being, and independence through work. At least 60% of your time will be spent in the community, meeting participants in settings comfortable to them, and building relationships with employers and referral organisations. You will work both independently and as part of a team to help secure paid employment for at least 50% of participants. A systematic approach is expected, using the programme's management and Client Relationship Management (CRM) systems, with ongoing reporting integrated into daily tasks. Our ESAs will:

  • Provide impactful, timely and individualised support to clients
  • Ensure contractual targets and KPIs are met
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
  • Represent SkillsHouse in localities across the district
